Summary of Qualifications
I have consistently been a problem solver in relation to customer and personnel issues. Over a substantial period of time I have exceeded established revenue goals, with in, assigned time frames. I Have been an influence in using new methods and procedures for gaining success in assignments.
Work History
November 1993-September 2001 Sales representative GTE Directories. Responsible for sales of Telephone Directory (Print), and internet advertising. Responsibilities included meeting with assigned customers to negotiate annual advertising contracts, resolving customer issues, and prospecting for new business. Exceeded established sales goals for (7) of (7) years as a sales representatives.
September 2001-June 2007 Promoted to District Sales Manager. Responsible for a sales unit of (4)-(6) sales representatives. Responsibilities included staffing the unit (hiring), coaching experienced members of the unit, and training new members. Additional responsibilities included resolving personnel issues, and escalated customer issues. Unit had the highest sales results for assigned markets worked, in the sales channel and region. Established and implemented a Regional Account Manager position, implementation included hiring, coaching, and setting the parameters of the position. This position resulted in a greater than average retention of revenue for markets as compared to other channels. Implemented a contact program for reaching hard to reach and unable to reach customers. Program resulted in increased revenues and greater customer and sales representative satisfaction.
June 2007-December 2007 Promoted to Branch Manager, Orlando, Fl. Responsible for a branch operation of (28)-(36) sales representatives, (5)-(6) sales managers, and an office staff of (3). Responsibilities included hiring and staffing, handling escalated personnel issues, handling escalated customer issues, meeting established revenue goals for assigned markets in assigned time frames, and coaching/training sales managers, sales representatives and new hires. Implemented a territory control program for managers and sales representatives, the program resulted in timely completion of assigned markets, the program also resulted in increased sales.
*GTE and Bell Atlantic Merged to become Verizon in June 2000. In 2006 Verizon spun off the Directory division which became Idearc Media. These companies are all successors of the same company.

AA Business Administration, Accounting Emphasis, Enterprise/Ozark Community College Attended Troy University, additional study in accounting and marketing.
